About the Founder
Chat2Evidence was founded by Mohammad Nadim, a developer from Siwan, Bihar, focused on legal-tech solutions for individuals navigating the Indian court system. The tool was built after observing how ordinary people — not lawyers — struggle to submit digital evidence correctly and often have their evidence rejected on procedural grounds.

The Problem We Solve
The Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam (BSA), 2023 — India's evidence law — requires a mandatory certificate under Section 63(4)(c) for any electronic record, including WhatsApp chats, to be admissible in court. Without this certificate and a SHA-256 cryptographic hash, judges reject the evidence entirely.
Most people — even many lawyers — don't know how to generate this certificate correctly. They submit screenshots, which courts increasingly reject. They pay forensic consultants thousands of rupees for what is fundamentally a formatting task.
